IAPC was formed to bring together the media groups and the Indian diaspora media fraternity across North America under one umbrella, to work together, support one another, and provide a unified voice to the mainstream media world and larger community. IAPC members are dedicated to fulfill the vision of enhancing their own journalistic skills while striving to help fellow journalists and future generations to work towards the common cause of enhancing the well being and efficiency of all peoples of the world.

    Vision

The Indo American Press Club, believe that the Indo-American and Canadian journalists should collaborate together in an effort to increase their employment in media, increase the number of Indian media professionals in management positions, encourage and educate the youth of Indian origin in North America interested in pursuing a journalism career, monitor and sensitize all media to social justice, enact and establish these objectives for the governance of our members.

    Mission

The Indo American Press Club is committed to excellence in journalism and communications. We envision to do this through four pillars

    • Education: Providing a platform for education, training and mentoring.
    • Forums/Events: Organizing opportunities to share knowledge and ideas.
    • Recognition: Awarding significant contributions by those of Indian origin.
    • Networking: Engaging members of the community and having fun.
